Her birth place on 1911 census is given as Wolverhampton. The transcript is very poor and there are lots of crossings out etc. Ethell 15, Lelly 9, Harl Ed 7, William 4 , Recehey 2 (my grandmother was Rebecca, born 1908) and Jane 5 months. |

Does anyone know anything about Mary Jane Ash, who died in 1952 in Kidderminster as Mary Pitchford? Very complicated trying to trace her - according to the 1911 census she was married to James Smith and living in Kidderminster with their children - also Smiths. Later children were Pitchford but I can't find that she remarried and am assuming they changed their name for whatever reason. Does anyone know if she is the Mary Ash who married James Pitchford in Wovlerhampton in 1893? |
