On the 1911 census, there is Thomas True (age 41), Maria True (38), and children Thomas (16), Amy (13) and Gladys (11). I believe this family emmigrated to Canada not long after this census, probably before 1918, as there is a 'Canadian' soldier in WW1 with next of kin Maria True and I can find no records of any of this family after 1920. Is there anyone with access to the records to verify this? |

Thank you very much Dee...a family mystery is beginning to reveal itself now. Was there any sign of Thomas and Thomas junior? |

Can I assume Dee, on that last post of Thomas returning to Canada, he had a wife with him? The last I can find of this family is Thomas (junior) marrying in Manchester in the 1st quarter of 1920 - which would fit in with him going back in April. |

I wonder if the pallbearer Albert Barbeau is the same chap that one of the girls married Albert Barbour?? |

I would imagine that the Barbour's and Barbeau's are the same people Dee - I'm certainly working on that being the case. |
