Samuel Yardley born 1786 married in cannongate barracks in Edinburgh served in army (now Black Watch was 42 regiment) I cannot trace where he was born or where William his son was born as no details on Scottish People site.He served in Captian Ropbert Boyle's Company at waterloo. The Black watch have told me to try Out pensioners recors at Royal Hospital Chelsea or at Kew anyone any tips best way to try this?

Samuel father wife McDuff son William (not sure other siblings) William married elizabeth oliver 1829 edinburgh and had 2 sons in scotlan ? before moving to newcastle. It is really difficult trying to find if William was born in Edinburgh or not as seemingly the 42 nd regiment recruited all over england scotland and ireland. i WOULD GIVE ACCESS TO TREE IF YOU TELL ME HOW TO!!
