what does his marriage cert say about his father? His occupation was?

Try entering David born Hexham 1837 +/-5 , and flick thru results- surname is bound to be misspelled, so dont even enter one

I really need help on this one, or maybe it is staring me in the face I can not see it.

I can not find David Salkeld b. 1836 - 1837 on either the 1841 or the 1851 census.

I have all the other censuses, his wedding to Elizabeth Williamson, the birth of his children and all the family after that.

His fathers name was Jacob and maybe his mother was Isabella (found a christening record with that name).

Can not find him with Jacob or anyone else.

I have posted the 1861 census for info.
