Dear Pam,
I am Laurence Breedon, grand nephew of Lawrence Breedon who married Miranda Hall in July of 1909 in Chesterfield. I have been trying to find any information on Miranda Hall, because Lawrence died from War effects in 1920/21 and I can find no trace of a remarriage or death of Miranda, so I assume she must have emigrated. If anyone knows anything please get in touch. Miranda was born in Toxtheth Park, Liverpool, but lived in Derby when she knew Lawrence. She appears to have been an interesting personality. Please leave a reply Pam telling me of your own researches , particularly as far as they involve Lawrence and Miranda.
Thanks [email protected]

Hello Laurence

First of all you need to edit your post to delete your e-mail address, it's against the board rules! Best to send it in a private message if you want replies by e-mail.

My great aunt Miranda, the subject of this post, was not born in Liverpool. I have her birth certificate and her date of birth was 16/9/1884, daughter of David Smith and Harriett Jennings. I think the Miranda you are looking for was born Miranda Hall in Toxteth Park, 1888.

Hello, My name's Laurence Breedon, and my Great uncle was Lawrence Breedon who married a Miranda Hall in Chesterfield in July 1909. If you have managed to find any information at all on Miranda I'd be so pleased to know it. Lawrence died as a result of War injuries in 1920/21, so I assume Mirand remarried and possibly emigrated - I can find no record of her remarriage or death in the B.M.D. records I've looked at. Please reply anyway telling me of your research as it relates to Miranda. Thanks,
