Hi
thanks to everyone who searched for my Tacchi family and big thank you to brummiejan who found them in 1911 as Tarchi i had tried all spellings i could think of with no luck had tried Sacchi as some of the related families had name in other census . Antony Tacchi my grx3 grandad was the first Tacchi to arrive in 1810 from Italy thought is his mothers maiden name may have been Sacchi ,apparently in Italy maiden surname can be used.Wether thats right or not i am unsure. Wonder if i can find some others now using Tarchi will try .Sorry so late saying thanks i was waiting for an e-mail to say i had replies then when i did read and replied i forgot to hit the submit. No excuse i know
Thanks again regards Christine

SomersetGirl said the 1911 census image says Tacchi. So another mistranscription that needs to be corrected
