Just noticed that the 1911 and 1901 that had been posted has been deleted what a shame could have done with that!

As you say I will try and get grandmothers birth cert will see if my cousin as a copy. As you say otherwise it is all guesswork!

Any chance of further census look ups on George Williams further back than 1891 - as mentioned I think I have foiund him on the 1881 census but not sure.

There are a few more but none stand out ,it looks as though its down to one of the childrens births for Susans maiden name to try and find a marriage for their fathers names,especially Georges.

The marriage found by Cassy ruled out.

A bit stuck now to go back as I can't find the marriage for George and Susan trying to find Susan's maiden name to check on the 1881 census.

I THINK I have George but am not sure.

The info I had posted is correct - well done just noticed I had made another mistake and should have been George Williams BUT you managed to find him anyway.

Could anyone see if he is on the 1891 census for me?

Cassy I am not sure about this one will check out the maiden name and see if anything comes up for Peckham as per the 1911 census place of birth

I can't seem to find the marriage on freebmd for George Williams to Susan c1892 - looking at the 1911 census image posted James eldest son was born the same year as the marriage and down as Chelsea

Any ideas please
