Hi I would like to find a Death date for Florence Alberta Hurcombe born 1870 Feckenham Worcestershire. Is there any chance? Thanks Anne.

That looks good Jacky as she doesn't seem to be on the 1911 census as Hurcombe.

What does it mean then rootgatherer I see shes on her own with daughter when domestic servant its getting a bit puzzling.

Jacky this is really amazin to me I was not aware she didnt stay married to Harry Hurcombe he was a beer bottler by trade perhaps he drank the assets.x

i will try to explain it for you hun she was born with surname watton
she then married harry HURCOMBE
not sure whats happened to him he may have died ?? she then went onto marry
Duckworth Tattersall in 1910
so she will have died with surname either
duckworth
or
dawson
as i,m not sure whitch is the right surname as she married in 1910 he was Duckworth Tattersall
but on the 1911 census the surname is dawson
hope that explaines it a little better for you


i have also got to leave the site at the minute as my grandson has just arrived & its his birthday so we are going to do prezzies & cake will be bcak later to check if we have found a death for harry

took some doing HA,HA but got there in the end i have tried to explain to anne about surname changes as she was getting confused lol but i have to pop off for a while so we need to try & find out what happend to Harry George T Hurcombe so will check back later after granson has gone home

Jacky Iv just noticed something strange Florences Daughter Florence Mabel ( my Gran ) had a son John with middle name Tattersall thought it strange would he have been given that name with ref. to Florence Albertas 2nd husband? are you confused now? its looks like your gran did give him the middle name after her step father as he would have brought her up it happened often in those days some male,s were also given the mother,s maiden name as a middle name i,m still trying to locate her 1st hunsband harry,s death but can,t seam to find it

Yes Jacky I think you are right about that name, Its amazin what u can find in one day my Mum is still alive but its hard to ask her anything as shes ill. She did tell me Florence Alberta was a fantastic women who could do anything any challenge. Thanks again for your replies Anne.x

This could be him in 1881 - you can check the father's occupation with that on the marriage certificate.
