Susan Report 16 Oct 2009 15:02

I am looking for information of my late Fathers family. Chapman. They lived in Vauxhall/Duddeston. Aston, Birmingham.

My fathers name was Arthur James Chapman. He has a sister and two or three brothers.

Susan Report 16 Oct 2009 15:18

My father was born in the 30s.... so anything really.

I seem to have lost my families on both sides now.

Dad passed away over 15 years ago.

Are you looking for living relatives?

Susan Report 16 Oct 2009 15:27

No Ann.......

Just those who i never knew but have passed on.

My grandparents on my fathers side i never knew. They died within minutes of each other.

Regards

Did he marry your mother Susan? Their marriage cert would give his age and his father's name which would be clues.

Yes he did. My Mother was a Chaplin.

I have no access to any documents.

I fear a fruitless search.......

Fruitless my eye! You underestimate the sheer stubborness of the Genes community. If there is info to be found, it will be, believe me. I know because of all the help I've received.
