Find Ancestors

Hoping somone out there can help Am attempting to do my family tree and only having a few vague names am hoping Im on the right trackhere goes
My Grandmothers name was Clara Smith ,Her mother was called (we think )Selina Riddle she married a William Smith ,and I think Selinas mother was called Riddle she married a John Riddle they come from Cornwall and then she married a John Henry Tregellas also from Cornwall but they end up living in Oldham Im hoping Its the same family and not 2 familys with the same names .If anyones got any tips I would be most grateful.

Thanks Sam I think they are one and the same lady its just that on one of the census her age dosnt square up by about 4 yrs difference so Im trying to cross check it with different sites it seems they are from Redruth in Cornwall and next week we are going to St Ives for a week so it would be nice to to visit Redruth but dont want to go on a wild goose chase searching a family thats not mine allthough Ive spent ages on it so I think I adopt her anyway haha

Clara Smith was born in Oldham Nov 1902
Selina married william Smith in June 1902
and I think Mary ann Tregellas was Selinas mother
Selina had 9 children which I think Ive mannaged to trace

that looks like mary ann's second marriage and those her children from her first marriage.

Thats what i thought its just she seemed to marry John riddle in Redruth then go to Oldham. so either John dies or they divorce Then she go to Redruth and marry John H Tregellas and then back in Oldham am assuming that that is were the work was,Just wanted to be as sure as i can be that I am on the right track never having done it before .
