wow that is really one interesting journey of discovery... fraught with frustration I'll bet but so engaging. It is things like this that have got me hooked on trying to unravel a larger picture of the family tree... not just a list of names and dates but the other details that give you more of an idea of what they may have been like. |

Yep it looks as if I may have to pay a visit to ireland to get back much further... I have one branch on the Sheridan side and another on the Payton all hailing from ireland. It is a good excuse for a holiday I think... I am amazed at just how many links I have come up with since you kindly helped me, I have contacted and been contacted by almost a dozen people with similar links in their trees! |
