Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 525 Send Message	Could someone please check the marriage of Ada Wells to ???Blackwell in 1st qtr.1917, Freebmd doesn't give his christian name, also the death age of Ada Wells in 3rd qtr.1911, BMD give this as 24 is this correct? Both in Leicester. All help appreciated. Regards Kathleen

	Kathleen, you must have the marriage date wrong - easily done when typing, I know. Having said that, i don't see any marriage of an Ada Wells to a Blackwell at any time, or anywhere!! Even phonetically searching surnames. Jan

	There is a marriage in the first qtr, of 1917 of Ada Wells to William Bullock in Henley, 3a, 1512. Kath. x

	just looked on full index at 1Q 1917 there is an Ada Wells but the marriage is in Hackney to somone called Skinner

	Saw post (which has now dissapeared) re Wells marriage have looked on FMP but definateley no marriage for a Wells or a Blackwell, Death is there in 1911 but if she died in 1911 how did she marry in 1917? or are they 2 different people? FMP is Find My Past

	Kathleen Bell, where did you find your marriage in 1917 as I am looking at ancestry and it isn't on there, only one in Hackney. The marriage that Jan found is the only one that fits the birth in 1917

Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 525 Send Message	Thank you everyone for replying to my request for info on Ada Wells, sorry to send you on a wild goose chase over the marriage, did confuse this with the birth, sorry. I take it then that the age at death was 24, was hoping this was a mistake and she was aged 20. Thanks for taking the time to look. Regards Kathleen
