Robert E V Wraight born 1916 malling Douglas Harry born 1820 malling wife Emily i have all info on this family except these 3 marriages. I can't find them on free bdm,shame. Father James C R Wraight and Phoebe Stephens. thankyou so much if you can help.

	This means trawling the records, qtr by qtr...unless you can give a possible year for the events. You could take up the 14-day free trial with Ancestry, and carry out the search yourself...............

	Tall order, sablon! Deaths could help - do you have them? Is this the Audrey you're thinking of? Name: Audrey Wraight Birth Date: 5 Sep 1920 Death Registration Month/Year: May 1991 Age at death (estimated): 70 Registration district: Maidstone Inferred County: Kent Volume: 16 Page: 1239 If so, the marriage would have been after 1940ish, although Alfred was older.

	The death certs might give some info - or you might be able to find obituaries in local newspapers on microfilm at a public library, with family names in them. 	There are about 20 Wraight births in Maidstone district 1940-1960, with about a half dozen different mothers' surnames. I'll send you a list.

	This could be a match for the deceased Audrey Wraight. Births Sep 1920 Kitney Audrey Sisley Holborn 1b 1287 FreeBMD shows 2 siblings.

	Ahem. The things we check before posting them on the boards. "Jessie"? That spelling would normally be for a girl baby; Jesse for boy. That's why nobody thought -- Ah, Jessie AW, Jessie Alfred, I'd think! ... Or did somebody?
