how can a william have 2 children called isabella 1st isabella born about 1820 and is still alive and married


this isabella born 1837 says this is her father hmmmm somthing fishy but cant understand it

found marrige for william dated 1904 to a ann lumley

but havent found one for him marryin another ann ??

william was a steam boat man .... we have his other children

we cant find birth for isabella born 1837 or 1836 in northsheilds which is tyne mouth northumberland

Think Ann is probably his daughter on both the 1841 and 1851 census.

I think that this was before civil registration so there won't be a birth certificate.

Also, I think William is Isabella's grandfather.

PS, William couldn't have married in 1904 as he would be over 100, I think he was born around 1786 going by the census.

i wounder if william had another sone we havent got and ann is his wife and weather he was away at sea or died ?? as they all worked at sea this bailey family

i think ann was married to williams son that we havent got as in 1841 says cens says married master mariner yet in 1851 says not married so is she divorced or is she a widow as we havent found a marrige for her to a baily yet

I would say "widow" Michelle. Had no luck finding husband though. If youngest child Thomas was born around 1843 and Ann is unmarried in 1851, one of these could possibly be her husbands death reg. 1841 & 1851 Census state registration District as Tynemouth. But which one, if any, i don't know. Wish i could help further.
