I don't see a death for a Joyce Johnson in the Wigan/Ince area in the 1990s.

Any idea when she was born?

You didn't say whether Gar(r)y's name is listed on your birth cert. You might discover some middle names.

i know im sorry i got mixed up but since i wrote that ive spoke to my nan my mums mum and she told me that dennis wasnt garys father nobody knows the name of garys father that ive asked sorry for getting mixed up im just in bits at the minute!! and trying to find out as much as i can, his mother was called joyce johnson she had type 1 diabeties and was in a wheelchair my father also had type 1 diabeties and now i have it, they was from wigan so i was told and dennis got with joyce after my father was born. i know that my father moved to blackpool in the 90s as my mother got a letter but she tore it up and didnt want me to know about it my nan has told me about this but this is as much info that anyone will tell me x

Later you say Dennis isnt his father.... Who is then? if Dennis wasn't around when Gary was born, his name isn't going to be Johnson

Only way to find out more is to buy the certificate.

I think you need to talk to your mum again. Tell her you don't want to waste money on buying certificates if she can just tell you what you need to know.

i wasnt told of any middle names but the 1st one looks better as my grandma told me he was older than my mum is there any way of finding out any more infomation on the 1st one please x

Ince district is right next to Wigan. The 2nd birth looks to be an adoption so we can discount that.

The mother's maiden name for that birth is Flower so that can't be the one. From what you've said, Joyce wasn't married when she had Gary.

gary is deffinatly my fathers name dennis wasnt my fathers dad, my dad was born in the 60s and dennis and joyce got together after he was born im really sorry i dont have much infomation but my mum isnt willing to tell me anything which i dont think is right he was deffinatly born in wigan my mother did tell me thats where the family was from and i do know i was very young when she died as my mother got a letter in the 90s thank you for your help

I'm not sure if that is your Joyce and Dennis because there's no Gary with that maiden name and I assume Joyce didn't die before you were born.

There's no death for a Joyce in Wigan district so your info. isn't that accurate.

Have you seen your birth cert? Is Gary listed on there? Just want to make sure Gary isn't his middle name.

no brothers or sister and didnt have a middle name

the only things i know is that my father was called gary johnson and his mother called joyce johnson he was born there and my grandma was born and lived there to she passed away in the 1990s my mum wont tell me much info as she didnt get on with him but hes my dad and i just wanna see if i can find him sorry there is so lil info

i just found out that they was from wigan sorry my grandma told me but thats the only infomation she could give me sorry
