Is there any chance that Hettie & Richard were abroad at that time? |

Thanks for the info on the Cresswell's you seem to have them all ok. I dont think my gran was a suffreget, but there was a storey of her going away to have a baby, and I believe Gertrude may have taking the child as her own. I have looked for births for a jordan toa jordan, and there was this one; Births Sep 1911 Jordan George A Jordan Wolverhampton 6b 1048. Although I dont knew if it was true or not and have not gone into it any further. I cant find a search box for Wolverhampton on 1911, so cant rule it out as yet. Any ideas what area that came under. this is all Whisperd gossip, I dont know if there is any truth in it, but in 1911 it would have been hushes up. |

hi again, yes I have the one in london now, but her full name was Hetty elizabeth and there is a one for Leicestershire age 17, I think I will give that one a try and see what it brings up, I will get back to you when I get the record, in the mean time has anyone had any luck with Richard Chaters, her husband. they married in Gateshead Durham and ived there for a number of years, Richard was a coal miner. |
