	if she was born in Ardleigh, then it makes the 1891 Census found earlier by Ricochet, probably the correct one. At least, she is the only Clara Lott born in Ardleigh, Esses, that turns up Name: Clara Lott Age: 10 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1881 Relation: Daughter Father's Name: Charles Mother's Name: Mary Ann Gender: Female Where born: Ardleigh, Essex, England Civil Parish: St Botolph Ecclesiastical parish: St Botolph County/Island: Essex Country: England Registration district: Colchester Charles Lott 37 b.ca 1854, Dedham, Essex, Carter Mary Ann Lott 39 b.ca 1854, Dedham Frank Lott 17 Sie Major Lott 16 Cabe Lott 12 Clara Lott 10 Charles Lott 6 George Lott 3 Lousia Lott 5/12 Address:- 21 Magdalen St, St Botolph You can confirm this by buying her marriage certificate .... that is the only way to be sure that we are following the correct family backwards. Take the information you were given on page 1 of this thread, make a note of the 2 sets of numbers that follow the place name Go to www.gro.gov.uk click on Order Certificates Online Fill out the form. 	To find out her parents details you would need to get her marraige cert unless you can be certain which one she is from the census info. without this info it is pretty difficult to search further back Jackie
