We have Bale's in Shebbear now. I live just up the road. Wew had Jack Bale who was the captain of the bell tower in Shebbear when I was learning to ring back in 1999 but he has sadley died since. His widow still lives in Shebbear Devon but his only son moved away. The last posting is probably the same family.

Can anyone help Please - I am trying to establish a link between the BALE Family in Husbands Bosworth and Devon.

I have a George Bale of Husbands Bosworth born 1810 who married a Grace Babcock born 1813 Geoegeham Devon with then further children born in Devon.
