I've just read all your latest information with great interest.

I have been investigating this family connection for many months, basically Ginette Shama (born 1917 at Alexandria, the daughter of Ezra Shama) married my late father, when he was a soldier serving with British Army, in 1944.
Ginette was a member of WAAF serving with Middle East Forces, she gave birth to a son in 1946 ( I have copies of the relevant marriage and brith certificates). I also possess photographs taken between 1945 and 1948 but my father returned to UK in 1948 and, as far as I know, had no further contact with his wife and son!!!

It is unknown whether they died or what happened to them.

I know a witness to the marriage ceremony was Ida Shama (perhaps Ginette's mother or sister). Ezra was described as 'deceased' in 1944.

So many unanswered questions .....

Your assistance has been so much appreciated and if you have any further ideas I'd love to hear from you.

Trying to locate my half brother Reginald Isaac ROUNSLEY who was born on 16th December 1946 at Alexandria, Egypt.
Reginald's parents were Frederick Charles and Ginette (nee SHAMA) ROUNSLEY,
Frederick (known as Charlie) was a member of RASC (based in Palestine, Egypt and Cyrenaica) and Ginette served with WAAF in Alexandria.
Any information would be much appreciated.
