Hi Meriel, There is a Warren in Cheshire too!
The handwriting from those days is not always easy to read for us so lots of mistakes were made. I always check the original if I find something that I think may be correct and try and work out what it says.
Glad to have helped, hope the rest of your research goes well. Regards Catherine

Catherine Been out and have just come back onto Gr.
The info that you have looks like it is rigt. It matches up with what I have for the 1881 Census.
What confused me was where Thomas came from. think maybe that Warra could be Wirral, Cheshire, which would then make sense.
Catrine (1837 ) and Peter(1855) were both born in Northop, Flinthshire. It seem s that when the Census's have been transcribed it looks like the information has been hard to decipher. I have Catrine's husband details already and this was making me wonder if I was wrong somewhere, but by what you have found, it the the right track to follow
Thank you very much Meriel

This birth would fit the marriage with G H Dacre:-
Births Jun 1873 (>99%) DACRE James Leeds 9b 554
This is not at all sure of course as 1881 census image does show Ducker, but can find no marriage Burrows - Ducker or birth for James Ducker between 1872 and 1874 in Flintshire??

About 1841 Wales Census This database contains an every name index to the 1841 Wales Census with links to images of the original census returns. Information available in this database includes: name, age, estimated birth year, relationship to head of household.
For more information about this database, click here.
The 1841 Census for Wales was taken on the night of 6 June 1841. The following information was requested:
* Name of street, place, road, etc. * House number or name * Name of each person that had spent the night in that household * Age* * Sex (indicated by which column the age is recorded in) * Profession or occupation * Where born**
*The ages of people over 15 years old were usually rounded down to the nearest 5 years. Therefore, someone who was actually 24 years would have their age listed as 20, and someone who was actually 27 years old would have their age listed as 25.
**The "Where Born" column only asked two questions - 1) whether born in same county, and 2) whether born in Scotland, Ireland, or Foreign Parts. Possible answers and abbreviations to question #1 include: Yes (Y), No, (N), or Not Known (NK). For question #2, the following abbreviations were used: Scotland (S), Ireland (I), and Foreign Parts (F).
