Help with mothers maiden name

It's possible that Thomas and Ann from the 1861 had both been married before (or maybe Ann had) which is why there are two Sarahs - one was his/their daughter and the other was her daughter? |

They both show as daughter ... but I'm still thinking that one was his stepdaughter. |

Never thought of that, most prob, I've seen census before that have just put down father/mother when I know for sure they are step. |
