Glitterbaby, that is certainly the Powers as I found them in the 1881, Artil is Arthur L. Hughes. In the 1891 they are all in theatrical lodgings in Bradford.

I do have a copy of the Power/Pilarski marriage, she shows herself as single.

I've also found them in the 1891, but its no help in finding Arthur Leopold's father, unfortunately. He is the one that is my brick wall, I've found out Antonia's family, and am not too interested in George Power's family as he's only the step-father.

Thanks Janice. I don't seem to be very good at finding my way round these directories, but I'll certainly give it a go.

I was up till nearly 2 this morning looking at The Era, a sort of trade publication for the music halls, and found a few references to Leo, and loads to Antonia and George.
