hi team , i am looking for a john hughes, his wife was called ann ??she was born in 1797, they had a son called george c 1821, all this was in droitwitch worstershire, could have been st peters, i just wondered if they were on the 1841 census, brian,

In 1841 there are 3 George Hughes-s of the right age in Droitwich district (all in Dodderhill), but none is living with parents.

(My mistake -- there are two. Ancestry seems to have duplicated one household.)

I do not see an Ann or John Hughes with a spouse of the right name.

The 1841 image for Hughes is terrible and the occupations are so faint I cannot tell what John's was.

Also, "Rup" is undoubtedly not what Elizabeth's surname was, but I have no idea what it says.

This is the immediately preceding household, and my opinion would be that the surname is Hughes, in case this is of interest:
