Hi Pam,

Dee put up a post saying that 'you' Henry was mentioned in a tree on Ancestry and that he was the son of Henry + Elizabeth so I did a batch search' on IGI for you for any other Storer's christened around the same time with parents named as Henry + Elizabeth. This brought up the Storer's I have listed above.

Of course, these may not ALL be siblings of your Henry but there is a good chance that many of them will.

It would be worth you having a look at that tree she mentioned on Ancestry and to check that they have their information correct - If so, your Henry's parents are Henry + Elizabeth.

Dee is following the 'other' Henry who was mentioned on page 1 of your thread with parents William + Hannah. - I have sent info on 'his' family direct to her as it would confuse matters greatly if I put it on here.

So..... there were 2 Henry Storer's born in Ibstock around the same time so be very careful to check that you are following the correct one - first thing to do is to have a look at that Ancestry tree - Remember though that just because it all links up on their tree it doesn't mean they have it all correct - you still need proof !

I never knew that there were so many Storer's out there! I thought that it would be a fairly simple task but oh boy, was I wrong!
I've sent off for Caroline and Henry's marriage certificate so that I can double check Henry's father and also Caroline's fathers name.
I'll look into the Warwick website..that could be very useful. Before I started this I thought my rellies all came from the Nottingham area.

Unfortunately mine's the other Jane, she married in 1840.

Ooops shoudn't say unfortunately, without that little lady I wouldn't be here. LOL!!!

There is most likely a link but probably far back.

Looks like Pams rellies ( Henery and Elizabeth) lived to good ages though.

there is a tree on ancestry for Henry, unfortunately it states his parents are Henery and Elizabeth Millington.

So good news for you as it seems it goes back further.

Though I'd found another rellie, never mind. We could be further back though.... ever the optermist!!!(sorry for spelling)

It's so kind of you all to help...I'm going to see what I can find on Sarah Ann born c1845 according to the 1851 census in Ibstock. She's a new one to me. Is there any other way of finding siblings apart from the census?
