Thanks to the help of two previous GR members I have the 1901 census.

Just wondering if I could impose for another two look ups please

1891 for Edwin Beasley born West Ham 1884

1851 for Ralph Beasley born Rotherhithe 1850 (according to the age on the 1901 census) Married to a Mary.

I can then check the family on the 1881 as I think I have picked up the wrong people so far.

and looking at the one you have posted looks more like the correct family.

What was confusiing me on the 1901 census he says Ralph born Rotherhithe but as you can see on the 1881 census it says Cardiff so am sure the one you have posted is correct thank you very much

I am now confused about the 1891 because both families appear to have a similar names for the children. The second one has a Henry aged 10 whcih would fit in with the 1881 so not sure now??

I don't think he was sure where he came from, 3 census 3 different places!!! Looking at the children in 1881 and 91 it's the same family (I think).

I take on board your comment. I asked for the 1891 because Edwin was born in 1884. Then I thought that as Edwins father was Ralph and born in 1850 according to census 1881 I would by-pass the other years and go for it with Ralphon for the 1851 census
