The above shows the importance of getting that marriage certificate / register info as previously we were following the line of his mother being Alice Ann Curtney!
so the Samuel Wild marriage witness was brobably his brother

Hi Ann and Paul,

I had a quick look at records this morning before I left for work. I remember Sarah Fell, grandmother, being in close proximity on another census year. Hopefully this family will be easier to research than the other one!

It will mean buying the marriage cert. of Robert Wild and Hannah Fell though.

Paul, there are two other children from this marriage - William Henry and Herbert.
