Just realised that I omitted to mention that Jarvis was a coal miner living in Allerton Bywater in 1881 and Nottinghamshire in 1891.

First I would establish if the death date is correct just to make sure.

Can anyone help please. I have been going round in circles trying to establish how many children my gt grandmother had to her second husband Jarvis Hemstock.Adding to the confusion his first wife was also called Sarah.
I know she had 4 children to my gt grandfather Samuel Green but until I can establish when Jarvis lost his first wife I do not know how many of the others were hers too.She married Jarvis in oct 1890 and am informed she died in childbirth in 1896.
She had a daughter Ethel shortly after marrying Jarvis and also a son James.
I have the 1881 census when the name is spelt Henstock and the 1891 census but though I can presume the older children are the first Sarahs the ones under 10 in 1891 I can not be sure of
Really would appreciate some help
Regards Jan
