I saw on the 1881 census they were both born in London, would this have been so if they were born elsewhere?, do you think they could have gone to another country after 1956 and then moved back in 1881? |

by 1891 Jane had married my husbands great great grandfather, and isaac was dead, I am not sure what happened to John. |

Yes this is her, she had My husbands Great grandfather 2 years before she married Edward James Blake. |

Nicki, I was really trying to find them in the 1871 census, but they seem to not be about and maybe isaac born in 1860 is John, it's about the same time frame. |

and yes that is the same Edward James Woodlin. I got hi marriage certificate yesterday and on it, it said Edward James Woodlin Blake, he then went on to drop the woodlin around the war time, and just went to Edward J W Blake. I can't find a Edward James Blake born the same time, so I assume this is him. |
