Thank you so much it narrows down a few things. Ann Bell was obviously widdowed. But also that William Bell must have died between 1885/1886 9 months before his daughter was born and 1891 when she re-married. So i assume closer to 1885. |

He's listed as a widower in 1861. There are several marriages for a William Cook Bell in the London area. I wonder if they were all for him? He's a bit like Henry the 8th! |

How many marriages are we talking about?? He was definately with Ann in the 1881 census. So he may have had more children as well. |

Yes it does look like him. That would have been his last wife. If what we are saying is all him! Something just doesnt look right with him! Why would you have 4 wifes within 15 years??? |

There is another William C Bell around the London area so some could be his, maybe your William just married twice. |
