I know she married John Ludden in 1902, her farther died in 1900

The first Thomas was a carpenter and the 2nd Thomas was a tailor

The marriage was in Oldham, so possibly living in Lancashire in 1901

I am doing this for my mother in Law, Looks the this may be the one, but the information I have from the marrage certificate is that they married on the 13/08/1902 at St Patericks church in oldham, I will check this out later

I think you need to wait and see on the 1911 census for John and Catherine Ludden. We don't have any info. such as date or place of birth for John. How much older or younger was he?

I think i've have gone down the wrong track, Thomas Hunt Catherine's Father was a Coal Miner, I was hoping to find Catherine as a child living with Thomas and his wife

Don't think this is the right Thomas, in 1881 we should see a mention to his daughter Catherine she would be about 7 years old

Andy, I think the Thomas Hunter born in Galway abt. 1847 may be the one you're looking for. He resided with his sister in 1881 and then he was residing with his family in 1891. The 1881 census did state that he was married. I'll see if I can find Mary in Cheshire (her place of birth).
