Has anyone else come across these surnames? It doesn't seem to exist on any of the main sites that I have tried. These are the surnames that the above lady had on her marriage certificate, although she appears to also go by the surname SMITH. |

Emily's marriage is listed twice on freebmd, as Emily Letitia L Gyels and Emily Latitia Lockegyels - looks as if the the person compiling the index couldn't decide if Locke was a separate name or part of her surname. |

Think this is could be her birth - the page number is not clear on the image but I think it should be 273: |

The only birth for an Emily Letitia is in Basingstoke but I don't think that is yours. Maybe the Letitia was added at Baptism? |

Emily and William married in Monmouthshire, possibly Llangattock Vibon Avel or St Maughans, 1879. Havn't got the marriage certificate to know who Emily's father is. |

The Smith part came on her son's marriage certificate. Very confusing I must admit. |
