Find Ancestors

Hope someone, somewhere has some information upon Edgar Shama (born 7th August 1901 whereabouts unknown but who died in 1992 in Middlesex) and his wife Ida (maiden name unknown).
I would so much appreciate any details, however trivial ...

Do you know when Ida died?

Have you got any certificates confirming his date of birth it seems very exact.

Have also checked BMD and nothing for the name Shama

The date of birth is given on his death index, which is only as acurate as the informant's knowledge of the deceased.

Did this couple have any children?

No unfortunately I don't - she was in Alexandria, Egypt in 1944 but after that date I know nothing ..

perhaps he was not born in england or nor registered, there are only 4 shamas on Ancestry

did they nhave any children that you know of which could give you an idea when they might have married and where

I have not got a birth certificate for Edgar - information obtained from ancestry.com

Ginette was born in October 1917 (making Edgar a young 'dad' only 16)
This is a very complicated case - it was initially thought that Edgar (born 1901) was Ginette's brother and they were the children of Ezra Shama.

There is no birth registered for the name Ginette Shama on Ancestry on the complete index in 1917.

There is no sign of an Ezra Shama on Ancestry. Are you sure these people weren't born somewhere other than England.

It is possible Ginette was born in Alexandria (unable to verify this fact despite many months of trying).
Have been trying desperately to find out whether Edgar married Ida in Egypt, or if, in fact, he visited Egypt and if so when he returned to England (death records confirm this fact)

There is an Ezra Shama on ancestry site who was born in Syria circa 1830 but if he was Edgar and Ginette's dad (assuming they were siblings) Ezra would have been a 'very old dad (being in his 70s when Edgar was born and in his 80s when Ginette was born).
Stated this was a very complicated case!!!!

I have checked all the census records from where I've obtained the info re. Ezra (born circa 1830)
