Yes Catherine - thanks.

I had noticed this and suspect they may be Robert Wood's parents but have not found anything to prove this yet!

Many thanks though.

I also know that this is the correct Robert as I have his christening in Bocking so that is where I expected him to be:

ROBERT WOOD

Birth: 21 JAN 1850

Christening: 08 DEC 1850 Independent, Bocking, Essex, England

Parents:
Father: ROBERT WOOD Family
Mother: TAMER ELIZA

Dea Report 19 Aug 2008 17:49

Yes Cagsie - I had it all at 7.30 this morning - I have quite forgotton what I have found now !!

To be fair though - some people go to work for the day, BUT, It would help if they put up a question when they came home (and had an hour or so to follow it), rather than 2 minutes before they went to work.

(NO offence meant Lisa!!)

Come back SOON!!!!!

hi guys, two of you think its the same name,so that sounds promising.
Dea you said on your reply something about his christening, how & where did you find it.The date matches up exactly!
the other problem im having is finding Eliza, any takers?

Dea

Dea Report 20 Aug 2008 07:38

Cert received.

I would certainly say it is Robert Turner also

I will have a little look for Eliza - it is 'Grand-daughter day' today though so I won't be able to do much till she goes home!

Thanks Dea,now iv got the info im not sure what to do with it?do you have to pay to join familysearch.org.only this is working out an expensive hobby, regards Lisaxx
ps have a good grand daughter day!! do you think Eliza gave her baby away?

Dea

Dea Report 20 Aug 2008 08:36

No Lisa - that one is a free site!

I have a few theories about Eliza + Robert but that is all they are until I have followed them through.

I MAY just have her on 1841 but it needs 'working on' !

Will be back as soon as I can sort it for you.
