yes my grandfather,s full name was arthur william sinclair my mother was agnes ada sinclair, now there should not be a problem for me in trying to go back and trace this side of the family, on my mums marriage and birth certificate states that her father was arthur william sinclair again no problems, now the mystery starts when my grandfather died we recieved his death certificate stating when and were died age and his name only he was arthur william gabriel. Can you see the problem i am up against have you any suggestions kind regards chris

The 1891 Census shows an Arthur Gabriel living in Hackney showing as the son of a Charles Gabriel born in London in c 1847 and his Wife Emily born in Hoxton London in c 1856.RG12/202/115/5.
