I am trying to find any information on Percy Alfred Wheatcroft, born 1882 in Burton on Trent and married to Ann Elizabeth Ellen Wilkinson in September 1905. As far as I know, they had 2 children, Florence Gwendoline (1906) and Bernard Horace (1907). There the trail goes cold and one of my older relatives remembers that Percy Alfred disappeared, never to be seen again, believing that he went to the USA. Unfortunately, I don't know the year he went walkabout. If anyone has any information and they are prepared to share it, I would be eternally grateful.
