I am just starting to put together my family tree and I have a number of relatives called Cotter from Carrightwohill, near Midleton in Cork in Ireland.

I have traced back to my great grandparents Jeremiah and Mary Cotter who lived there from 1860s and had about nine children one of whom James Cotter moved to Canada and died in the WW1.

Does anyone have a link to them or indeed give me any clues as to where to start looking.
