The birth cert of one of their kids would give you the definitive answer - £7 from GRO online, look up the birth ref on freebmd.

Did they marry in Notts? If not, where were they living when the first child was born?

Hi,
I am looking for the maiden name of Lois,born Cossall Nottingham c 1836.She married a Thomas William White c 1829 who was a carpenter around 1860.
Any info welcome.
