I am seeking the son and daughter of George McLachlan Curran, formerly of Wallsend-on-Tyne England, born in Scotland 8th April 1903 and emigrated to Canada about 1927 where he married. I know he had at least two children, Gordon Curran and Patricia Curran. I can only guess at their ages from two old photos taken in May 1952 showing Gordon in army uniform. He was in the Army Reserve Unit 102nd RCA, about 30 yrs old. Patricia is in Girl Guides uniform and looks about 12 yrs old. George McLachlan Curran was my step brother. Any information would be helpful.
Thank you, Ron Curran
P.S. Since I wrote the above, another two names have been drawn to my attention by a relative. They are Beverley and Christine, believed sisters, daughters of George MacLachlan Curran, and that they be from a second family. Does Vancouver ring a bell? Any information would be gratefully received.
