I am Lyndall Foulds. We are connected through my husband to Thomas Humphrey Foulds b 1845 Bermondsey, Surrey (joiner and cooper's laborer) and his father, Henry Foulds (builder's foreman) b circa 1808 also in Bermondsey. Thomas's mother was Elizabeth Evans of Worcester b 1811 and his wife was Isabella Walker b 1850 Gateshead. We'd love to find descendants from these families. We just recently learned that my husband's great-grandfather, Alfred Foulds (son of Thomas and Isabella) was a "Barnardo Boy" from Stepney Causeway who emigrated to Canada in 1887. Thanks so much for any help you might share with us. |
