My paternal grandfather was James Davis, his mother Margaret Grogan, born 7.1.1867/8 to Michael Grogan & Mary Grogan (formerly Collins), Michael Grogan was a Barrel Filer - Margaret was born at 6 Court, Howard Place, Birmingham. I have a marriage cert. for Michael Grogan & Mary Collins dated 5.11.1866 Michael is a Gun Maker residence Suffolk Street, Birmingham, Mary, residence Hill Street, Birmingham, Michael's father is Thomas Grogan, occupaton Tailor and Mary's father is Martin Collins, Shoe Maker. Married at St Peter's Chapel, Birmingham. In Census's they both have birth's saying Ireland but no district. I am really struggling to get further any help would be appreciated? |
