I have come to a dead end!! My ancestors are Shepherds of Hackney, Bernondsey, Camberwell. At the head of this family is Francis Graham Shepherd born about 1814 in Scotland, don't know where in Scotland. He married Sarah Gaddes of Southwark in Stepney. They had 3 children George Henry,Christiana and John. My line comes from George Henry who married Elizabeth Hammond and had 9 children of which one was my great grandfather John Ellwood Shepherd. He married 3 times but the marriage to Martha Elizabeth Brockwell his first wife produced my grandad. But I want to fin the Scottish link??? Help please! |
