I don't know London, but looking at the areas covered by the registration districts the birth in Poplar seems the most likely as Poplar from 1966 covers Bethnal Green. There are aslo a couple of possible deaths for Thomas in Poplar.
I can't think of any other way than to try a birth cert stating father must be Thomas- sorry

Marriage certificate says her father is Thomas Fitzgerald (deceased).

I'm not sure what to do with her. All family come from East London (Mile End & Bethnal Green) so doubt anything else will be her. Are there other places/ways to search for her?

There are 4 Agnes Fitzgerald's born in the London area in 1874 and more in other years with a middle name. Pity she is not consistent with where she was born

If someone has a few minutes spare, could you please see if you can find Agnes' birth so I can order her birth certificate. I can't find anything but I don't think I'm very good at looking!

thomas and margaret have no children in 1871 or 1881

Yes, I'm OK with Walter. I'm just not sure where to start looking for Agnes, I just keep hitting a brick wall.

FTR, Walter's parents are Joseph Deering and Margaret ? b Stromness, Orkney. I haven't had a lot of luck with her either!

I found them in 1901 indexed under DERRING.

Borth are aged 24 and born in Mile End Old Town.
Have children Walter age 2 and Henry 3 months.

However that does not help find her father and mother !! Have you found Walter before his marriage ?
