Just butting in to say -- if I were searching for Gee, I'd try to do it with no surname at all if possible, i.e. if you have

given name
place of residence
place and date of birth
parents' given names

and then scan the results list looking for anything that could conceivably have started out as Gee.

(Because it's only 3 letters, the wild card function can't really be used.)

Because it's a thing of wonder what Ancestry can do with that name. One that I found in helping out on another Gee case was Gus. And Gee/Gees seems to be interchangeable. And just look what you've all found here. ;)
