I am looking for details on.. Thomas SQUIBB he died 15th May 1888, Sheppey Kent. Born abt 1824 Bristol? a number of children born in Bristol and more in Poplar London, he worked as a Boiler Maker so that may have been why he travelled but that could also be why I am having trouble finding him. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I have the birth cert of his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Squibb from which I know that her Mother was Mary Squibb formally Read. Father being Thomas Squibb Occupation "Smith" I have the death cert of Thomas from 1888 which say's occupation is Boiler Maker! I now have the 1851 census from Helen but, I have no other details

It really looks as if the family is going under the name of Barnett but registering the children as Squibb.

1871 Census also a fit... Halfway House is on the Death Cert although very hard to read, but seeing the census details it has to be.

How on earth did you find the family under Barnet?????

I searched for Sarah, b1854, Essex, West Ham, parents Thomas and Mary (no surname) and Sarah Elizbth Barnett came up with the correct parents and siblings, so I checked the image for Thomas's occupation.

Mary has gone back to Squibb after Thomas's death:
