Hi. There is an entry on the 1911 census for a George Rock. same birth area and Stourbridge. but he is already married. I would not assume that this one is the one you are looking for unless he married twice. Certificate needed. Ethel. |

Hi Lynette - as everyone says you need the marriage cert. This may be one to bear in mind though when you get it. |

Just noticed the age on the marriage cert doesn't match her DOB I have, she states she is 20 on the cert meaning she would have been born 1892 not 1879:( |

I don't have access to the 1911 census but wondered as both families had lived on islington halesowen at the time of the marriage I didn't know if it would be easier to search by address as there are so many George Rocks' and George prices'.Plus I couldn't find Rosannah living in halesowen in the 1901 census.I didn't know if it was possible to search by address. |
