I have come to a complete dead end in trying to trace back my family history. It seems from documents I have been able to access that the spelling of the surname varied greatly. I have found a Christopher Meyer born in St Mary Whitechapel Stepney, London in 1781. As I cannot find any other information I am exploring even the tiniest leads. Hopefully there is someone who has this Meyer family in their past who can guide me one way or the other.
