I wonder does anyone have any information on any McLuckies living in the Glasgow area between 1800 and 1850?

My 3xgreat grandfather was Andrew McLuckie. He married Jane Auckland in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1943, but was born around 1815 in Glasgow. According to their wedding certificate, his father was Peter, a studhusbandman.

I've been unable to find any trace of either man in Glasgow before 1943 when Andrew would have left (he's on the 1851 Census in Newcastle) and would be extremely grateful if anyone is able to help (as would a number of others researching this line). We've been stuck at this point for some time!
