Mary Watkins married John Capel (b1893) in St Giles church, Oxford in 1815. (IGI) She died in 1816 shortly after giving birth to her one and only son William. John Capel went on to remarry twice - Susannah and Ann Bennett (sisters). |

Thanks Martock that is my problem - no death certs in 1816 and Watkins is a very common name! Esp with no parental names ....... |

Have you seen the actual parish register entry for the marriage of Mary and John? Maybe her father was a witness and is named there? |

Your best bet is to get the full details from the parish register of the marriage, ie witnesses etc , maybe her father's name will be listed. |
