I am looking for the maiden name of Lois,born Cossall Nottingham c 1836.She married a Thomas William White c 1829 who was a carpenter around 1860.

Hmm, cant see a suitable marriage as yet but a couple of possible William Whites born September quarter 1860 in Marylebone.

Sills family in right area but no Lois

There is only one Lois and shown born Derby :( I know the counties were fluid then but wrong date aswell. Notice she has aged a bit by the 1871.

Good chance Ives is Lois. But still no marriage either first one or to White :(

Lois stated as 45 in 1881 census married to Thomas with kids Thomas 19yrs,George 17yrs,Annie 14yrs,Lottie 12 years, William 9 yrs.Living 152 Glenarm Rd.

Was Thomas head of family's second marriage first one too Maria Cornwell she died 1859.Had a son with her also called Thomas John 1856.
Really wanting to find her maiden name and where she married him.She is down as Cossall Notts

Which marriage in 1857 are you referring to. (No that marriage no good was married to Maria Cornwell 1857)
