Hope someone can help
my mother Jennie Tredgold born 1921 had a cousin Charles Kingsland born1921, both born in London
Mums dad was Thomas Tredgold born 1896 and his father was Thomas Clarke Tredgold born 1847 in Andover. He lived in Hackney in 1921
Charles father was also Charles Kingsland born 1893/94 and I have found a marraige record that he married Jennie Treadgold in 1919 in Haringey. That says her father was Thomas Clark Treadgold. A bit of a coincidence with the other Thomas already mentioned. He married Susan Sansom/ Norris in 1891 but I have found another marraige record that may suggest he was previously married in 1869 in Islington but I can find no trace of any family resulting from this in the cencus records. Nor can I find any birth or other record for Jennie Treadgold.

I can find some on 1891 and 1911,but none on 1901 anywhere !

And no Jennie Treadgold/Tredgold 1896 at all other than the marriage.

Thomas Clarke Tredgold born 26/1/1847 Andover son of Thomas and Martha
In 1891 he is b 1847 Stone Mason and married to Susan (obviously a second marriage for her as there are Sansom children present)

In1881 there is a Thomas Tredgold b 1843 Andover with a wife Martha and a daughter Ada 17 -he is aklso a stone mason

There is also a Thomas Clark Tredgold who married 1869 Islington BUT
the possible brides are Elizabeth Barnett or Annie Devire

Think I need to sort this out with a clearer head tomorrow!
